Our Philosophy
At the Key West Police Athletic League's Forward Future Academy, we believe that every child is unique and deserves individualized attention and care. We encourage creativity, exploration, and learning through play and physical activity, and we strive to foster a lifelong love of learning in every school aged child.
Our Staff
Our staff are highly qualified and experienced professionals who are passionate about working with children. They undergo regular training to keep up-to-date with the latest methods and practices, and are dedicated to providing the best possible care and education for each child.

Summer Camp 2025
It's that time of year for summer fun and watermelon grins!
June 2nd- August 8th Monday -Friday 8am-4pm
1030 United St. Behind City Hall in the KWPAL Gymnasium.
New Camper: Arrive with 15 Minutes buffer to do paperwork.
Schedule's will be posted Sundays online and Monday's at camp on the desk.

What to pack?
- Waterbottle , Towel, small blanky if you want
- Tech is allowed only during designated time during the day.
- toys are allowed at your child's discretion.
LUNCHES: Always Pack a lunch , water bottle, 2 snacks
- Friday's are Pizza Party time! Bring $10 for Drink/Snack/Lunch for Friday's and sign the envelope. If you have an allergy please specify during drop off.
Transportation during camp: We travel in a 16 Passenger van provided by the KWPD and City of Key West by a certified staff member of the gym.

Teens need somewhere safe to be while having fun and earning community service hours and leadership skills?
Sign up for our CIT program ages 13-17. The rest of the summer will be free to the parents after the first week of $300. After the first week we will decide if this is a great fit for your teen.
Why? This is experience in their first real job training and leadership skills. Not only will they receive a glowing letter of recommendation by the Key West Police Athletic League and community service hours, they will stand more confident at the end of summer. Email us for more information.

Join us at the KWPAL for summer camp this year !
Indoor and outdoor fun! Bounce houses! are and crafts! Where kids can be kids. Dive into beach hopping adventures along the coastline, where campers will explore different beaches and enjoy various coastal activities. Learn the art of knot tying, a valuable skill for any outdoor enthusiast, during our hands-on workshops. Every day is an adventure as your' kiddos learn skills in self management, appreciation, and independence while having a memorable summer experience!
- $60 Day Pass 8am-4pm (7 hours)
- $40 Half Day Pass (4 hours)
- $300 Per week ($250 for FFA or GYM Members)
- $1000 For a Month Package
- $150 3 day pass (used when you want prepaid)
